Hampton Roads Childcare, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation that was formed by John C. Faircloth, ACSW. The corporation was formed in 1999 to help children in the Hampton Roads area. Carpe Diem of Virginia utilizes the not-for-profit status to help our children receive tax deductible donations, and to help increase our chances of receiving grant awards. Carpe Diem of Virginia has always paid all of the management and administrative expenses of Hampton Roads Childcare, Inc. Hampton Roads Childcare, Inc., does not have paid employees, and every single penny of every single donation goes directly to foster children and to some of the clients of our In-Home Services Program.
